Working internationally has allowed me to listen and learn from different cultures, and to work together with highly diverse, inclusive and high performing teams.

It is a privilege to have a long, varied and successful career, which is well beyond my humble expectations. This experience has given me the skills and confidence to 'give back' and operate at board level in business, and for the charitable causes that I feel most passionate about.
EXPERIENCE
I was a client service partner for over 25 years, delivering governance, risk and assurance solutions to clients in the UK, Europe and North America. I have FTSE 250, Fortune 500 and SME expertise, primarily focused on Technology, Media, Telecommunications and Energy clients.
My expertise is focused on integrated, enterprise wide governance and risk management: geopolitical, strategic, operational, people, technology, finance, regulatory and compliance risks and controls. Technology led solution expertise: enterprise risk management, third party risk management, resilience frameworks, cyber risk, software asset management, data privacy and GDPR, ESG risk and assurance, internal audit transformation, UK corporate reform, and Sox 404.
BOARDS
I was a KPMG and then an EY Global lead partner with board level responsibility for governance, risk and assurance services: go to market strategy, high performing teams, solution development and deployment, client service quality and operational performance.
I was also an RSM UK board member with national responsibility for SME clients and markets, at a time when the board focus was on the stabilisation, turnaround and successful exit to Baker Tilly.
My current focus as a board advisor is at organisations where I strongly believe in the leadership team and the business model: FinTech and smart home start up, strategic and geopolitical risk consultancy, and SaaS global learning and development platform.
I am proud to be a Board member of three charities focused on the most vulnerable in society.
